Sunday picnics !

We are back to having regular Sunday cruises up and down the Tay.  These are longer sailing trips with a picnic lunch somewhere on the way and are really why we learn to sail.  Sailing is a wonderful way of exploring the Tay, almost silent and fitting in with nature.  Just how silent it gets was noticed when our St Andrews trip was curtailed by fog.  But we still anchored and had our picnic before deciding to head back to Grassy beach.

The following Sunday we had glorious sunshine for sailing through the bridge to a beach by Newport.  It was great to sail and sit in the sunshine and enjoy our picnics.  These cruises are a wonderful way of meeting other club members and also prepare us for trips further afield.
