Adventures in Arran!

A group of the club’s rowers successfully completed a circumnavigation of Arran on June 21st & 22nd, inspired by the row achieved by the Arran Coastal Rowing Club in 2018. The total distance covered was approximately 55 miles, split into six stages and took around 15 and a half hours to complete.

An enormous thank you to all the people who made it possible: those involved in the organisation and planning of the trip, the on-shore support team who generously gave up their time to transport the rowing crews to and from the changeover points, and the rowers themselves - well done everyone! ????

Thanks also to Rory Cowan of the Arran Rowing Club who was very generous with his time and assistance and provided valuable local knowledge.
