Dundee Sailing Club is running another RYA Basic Skills Level 1 & 2 Sailing Course on the 8/9th May. If this is something that would interest you, could you please register your interest in order to give us an idea of numbers. The cost of this course will be £60.
The course will cover rigging ropework sailing techniques and manoeuvers(practical) launching and recovery capsize recovery racing sailing theory and background meteorology clothing and equipment emergency procedures and precautions On completion of this course, the successful sailor will be safety conscious, have a basic knowledge of sailing and be capable of sailing without an instructor onboard in light winds. To help you through this course the Club have available the RYA Start Sailing Handbook. This costs £4.50 and is an excellent reference for this course. Included in the cost of this course is the RYA Log Book and your RYA Basic Skills Level 1 & 2 Certificate , if successful. All monies are due 4 weeks before the start of the Course. |
