Q Do I need to know how to sail?
A No. It's generally a hand-on experience with Club members offering advice and instruction. The Club also runs RYA training courses for members. Q Do I need a boat? A No. The Club has a fleet of 5 sailing dinghys which are available free of charge to members. Q Is it expensive? A No. Membership for an adult is £100 and family membership is £150. Q What do I need to bring with me? A A change of clothing and a pair of old trainers. The Club can supply waterproofs and buoyancy aids. Q Yes I'd like to try sailing, what do I do next? A Click on "Contact Us", send us your details and a Club member will contact you to arrange a complimentary sail. Try it and if you enjoy it you are more than welcome to join the Club.
